We are a local tour operator with offices in Bogota and Sydney Australia that specialise in small group tours to Colombia and personalized Colombian Tours. We can also provide all your booking requirements for your Colombia vacations and Colombian tours.
We support responsible travel and encourage our customers to support local communities and natural conservation projects
At Colombian Travels, we’re all about showing you the true face of Colombia. We want to share this passion with you and take you to the places only the locals know about.
Come with us to tour Colombia and you will explore traditional villages, learn about our indigenous cultures, visit our beautiful national parks or swing in a hammock under the stars. We’ll take you off the beaten track and show you the things you won’t find in guide books.

Our beginnings
Colombian Travels was founded by Santiago Duarte, a proud Colombian, a lawyer and a seasoned global traveller who is dedicated to promoting his country as a viable tourist destination, and also believes in supporting local communities and the preservation and restoration of Colombia’s beautiful national parks.He is now studying tourism management and divides his time between Australia and Colombia. Santiago has a network of professional tour guides around the country to offer you a truly authentic experience for your Colombian vacation..
Our philosophy and vision
We’re all about creating great holiday experiences whilst supporting the development and promotion of responsible tourism. We deeply believe in building a tourism industry that respects local regulations, values, customs and most importantly, helps to preserve sensitive areas in one of the richest countries in natural diversity in the world.
A percentage of our profits are donated to Fair Trade Colombia “ Products that foster peace” in a joint effort to improve lives in vulnerable communities in Colombia by funding educational projects.
